No, but you need to have a reason to install a jet kit for it to make a difference, otherwise it will be a waste of money.
Why you would need the kit:
1. You change the pipe to one that is less restrictive
2. You change the cam to a performance cam
3. You put in a less restrictive air cleaner
4. All of the above
Anything that changes performance can reduce long term reliability. Simply note this and if you want more performance, understand you might have to fix your ATV sooner if you soup it up.

Well, we had a brand new Honda ES 350 that my son decided needed a kit. The machine always started right up from day one--no problems! Since he had the kit put in this things been a complete nightmare! It did'nt make enough difference in power to make it worth the effort! I would say stick with what you have and if it's not enough power, upgrade to a larger machine!

why do you think it needs a (jet kit)?
it would only need differnet jets if you change
something, usually exhaust....
If It ain't broke,, don't fix it..
