If I tried to explain, you wouldnt understand anyway! 3.2 gigahertz is your processor speed. The higher, the better. Yours should be fine.

Ghz stands for Gigahertz. Ill define each syllable (giga and hertz) seperately.

Giga= Numerical modifier meaning 1 Billion. Mega is 1 Million. Kilo is 1 thousand. and so forth.

hertz= A term used in defining electricity. Electricity travels in the form of a wave (similar to an EKG heart beat read out at a hospital. The wave has an equal up and down rhythim. The number of hertz describes how many complete cycles the processor can perform in one second. A cycle is defined as the distance (which in this case is measured in time) between the highest peak of the wave to the next lowest valley.
first second
1 1
0 0 0 0
-1
0 is the line between positive and negative. The cycle is the time between 1 and -1. the next cycle would be between -1 and the next 1. In a computer, each cycle is an operation in which data is processed.

Gigahertz= 3.2 billion cycles per second.

In computer terms, this means the processor can complete 3.2 billion simple arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) every second.

3.2 Ghz is the high end of processor clock rates. Processors sold today can range anywhere from 1.4Ghz to 3.6Ghz.

Please note that clock rate (Ghz) is not the only determining factor in processor speed. AMD chips, while having a lower Ghz rating, are still just as fast as their Intel equivalents.

3.2 is a pretty good speed for a single core processor. Most new computers come with dual core processors with a lower clock speed (GHZ) but are still better than a 3.2 GHZ single core. But yes that is good for a standard computer.

In simple language, processor's speed of processing the data is measured in Ghz.. Your processor is one of the fastest in the market.. But higher speeds are meant for many complex mathematical calculations which require faster response times.. But for home purpose, you may have opted for processor considering various other parameters.. Namely,no of cores,32-bit.,etc... Or else u may also have invested in increasing the amounts of RAM,or in a graphics card as well... Good for gaming...

Higher the Ghz (giga hertz) better it is.
Worst I have used is 48 Mhz ( 1G = 1000M) when I was 12.
The number is the speed of the clock on your CPU. Faster the speed, faster can your computer do things.

without going in depth, the higher, the faster, the better. 5 years ago most PC's were in the MegaHertz range but I GHZ is 1000 times faster than 1 MHZ and 1000000 times faster than 1 kHZ, does that help?

GHZ stands for Gigahertz. It is the micro wave frequency that micro wave ovens and most cell phones operate on.
