felony conviction? I have the link of www.atf.gov but can't come up with a list of names to prove to my brother that his name is on it!

i just got Mo Conservationist magazine for this month and there's a question for the Ombudsman on if a person with a felony conviction can hunt with a shotgun or a rifle. He gives the link I provided.
You can go to www.missouriconservation.org and see if you can read the article.

I seriously doubt there is an actual list of names. Federal law prohibits anyone with a felony conviction from carrying a weapon, but I have never heard of any requirement for anyone to maintain a list. Try looking for a 'Contact Us' link at the ATF website. If such a list exists, they should know where it is.

If your brother is a felon, he has no right to own or possess a firearm and cannot vote. I'm not aware of a list of all the felons in the U.S.
