The only way it will get used to you is by constant handeling. You must get him used to picking him up and holding him.

Try just putting your hand in the cage for awhle before you pick him up

Leopard geckos, even though they are the most easily kept of the lizards, are not neccessarily the best lizard pets to be handled and interacted with frequently. They should be thought of as display lizards that will tolerate occassional handling. Hatchlings and juveniles are smaller and more nervous than adults and should not be handled until they become subadults(5 inches long or so).

Note: I've had my leopard geckos for about 2 years now and they still try to bite me.

Good Luck!!!

Well, you have a problem, don't you. I normally go balls to the walls, son. If you're a coward, I truley recommend a glove. Get yourself a nice glove and pick him up from the front, as to not completely startle him. Handle him for a bit, and the next day, try it without the glove. That's how I handle Thor' Nar Althzad, and he's a damned scorpion.

Well it really depends on how old the gecko is and when hes ready to come out.If he is hissing and trying to bite you well..it's not ready to come out.The reason is because you need to tame him by talking in a soft voice to him.He will get used to your voice and he will want to be picked up.If hes a baby then he wont be ready quite yet but be patient.Don't worry it takes time for a gecko to get used to you but you will get to pick him up.

This is what you should do put your hand in the cage for awhile and then try and pick him up or put a treat or something in your hand that he likes and have him walk to it. He will get use to you this way. And if you can try having him walk around ouside the cage. Hope This Helps

start handling it right away it should get used to being held within a couple weeks but it will probably give you difficulty picking it up for a long time.

The only way to get it used to you is to handle it. start by putting your hand in the cage and let it climb up your hand and then go from there.

they get used to you by constant handling, they are similar to guine pigs. if they dont get used to you when they are young, they will probably never want you to handle them, i suggest trying to take him/her out of its cage and just holding it for a while.
