Define evil. Normally, evil behavior would come from evil persons. But, many times it depends on the evil, and the person. A good person can do an evil act and still not necessarily be evil; but the act is evil regardless. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

I think behavioral evil is the norm when we see people making bad choices, but there are also truly Evil individuals.
Dr. M. Scott Peck wrote an excellent book on this subject about 15 years ago. The title is "People of the Lie'. See if you can get a copy--it''s a fascinating book.
Good luck

A dating-guru once put it like this:
(oh no, not those dating-guru stories again!)
Well, you generally have 2 kinds of people.
A. who will always look at the positive sides of others.
B. Those who will always look at the negative trades of others.
A. will always forgive people and let others walk all over them, and never get why people are alwyas so mean?
B. will never be able to trust people and will get isoloted and have a mere 1 good friend.
Then you have this writer who thought up this:
Everyone has a good and evil side to their persona...
Remember what sutherland said in that movie " the italian job" ?
You can always trust people, just dont trust the devil inside them.
Everyone has a good and bad side.
The key is to not only see one of both but both at once.
Then there are three types to distinguish:
A. People who have only a little bit of darkside and alot of good.
B. People who have a well balanced 50-50 dark/good intentions.
C. People who have alot of darkside and a little bit of good.
These are usually the ones who manipulate and live off others.
So there...

No person is truly evil. Their actions and behaviors may seem evil. "Evil-ness" can be caused by many factors (home life, lack of friends, mental problems, chemical imbalances, etc.) Maybe these people truly thought they were doing society a favor! There's too many variables, and yet there is a few too many psychopaths. But no person is born "evil."

I really believe some people are evil. Take satan worshippers, for instance. Some people can have a mental illness such as schizophrenia and not be evil. They hear voices in their heads and have hallucinations. But they usually don't walk in a store and start shooting strangers. But then there are those like Richard Rimirez, the night stalker, who not only have a mental illness, but are evil. You couldn't ask for a worse combination. Satan enters their lives and because they are mentally ill to begin with, it's easy for him to urge them to commit heinous crimes. It's a choice, though. Somewhere along the way, Rimirez opened a spiritual door and invited him in. He expressed a desire to do satan's bidding.

Do evil people really think they are doing evil? Is it perhaps they feel they are doing something for the greater good of mankind. I am not agreeing with what they do but I am asking the question how many people truly set out to do evil? Did Hitler think he was evil?

We all are subject to evil thoughts. On that point we're all guilty. The behavior doesn't become apparent until they act on those thoughts. Which can range anywhere from gossip, to murder. The labels we have for thies people, would depend on how they feel about those actions. People are evil, behavior is just the actions of what they are.

People are born into different levels of consciousness. Some people are just born evil. They are descented of the reptilian race, which is an ET race that came to planet earth many many years ago. You just need to be aware of people and their nature and stay away from the negative ones.

I think everyone is born pure and untouched by evil.
Life experiences, and environment, parents (Or people of great influence) can all contribute to turning someone evil. People who are stronger do not conform to evil, they feed off it to make them stronger by realising that they are better than the evil they can rise above it!

i think the people are evil so therefore their behavior is evil.
it doesn't make sense to me that a good person can do an evil thing. if u do an evil thing u r no longer good. alot of contradiction in that statement.
i think good people can do mean things with or without realizing that they are being mean. there is a difference between being mean and evil.
