I like System of a Down, Breaking benjamin, Sevendust stuff like that. I like the way metalcore guitars are played but I HATE WHEN THEY USE SCREAMO AND HIGH FREAKY VOICES. any suggestions?

Those bands are NOT metal! Neither they are really hard rock. The problem with nowadays metal scene is that people have no idea what true metal really is!! They try to pass all that NU and rap/metal and metalcore crap as something that actually belong in metal scene.... reality check?!

If you want an example of what TRUE, good melodic metal bands and power metal bands sound like, check:
Gamma Ray
Stratovarius
Sonata Arctica
Edguy
Rhapsody
Dragonforce

If you want some proper, mainstream heavy-ish metal, check:
Blind Guardian
Hammerfall
Manowar
Judas Priest
Iron Maiden
Motorhead
Dream Evil
Helloween
Iced Earth

OH OH OH. Whatever you do, don't listen to popular music. It will destroy your creativity and potential.
If you're interested in guitar, listen to Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Van Halen, Steve Vai, (instrumental but amazing) Pantera... Really, all the stuff that's called "old and out-dated" is still teh best you will ever hear. For now, at least. Because they were really creative, and really different, and really innovative.

Umm...let me try.

-Death from Above 1979
-Avenged Sevenfold, you probs already have them but I just love the CD City of Evil too much to not recommend it.
-Dragonforce (most epic metal you'll ever hear)
-The Crystal Method (you would like a few of their songs).

I'm not too into that stuff, although I am getting more into it lately.

Ministry check out these songs "Thieves", "Burning Inside" and "Faith Collapsing". They use a lot of vocal samples and lead singer Al Jourgensen sings like he gargles with battery acid......very cool.

Clutch. (Their early work... Transnational Speedway League is the best)

If you can get over the foreign language thing, then check out Rammstein.
