What acid turns the indicator yellow on an OF test?

I'm not sure, I think it's citric acid since it is produced during the
Kreb cycle. Can someone confirm or is it something else?

Puruvic Acid. Aerobic respiration is made from glucose, but always remember this as well: it requires oxygen whereas anaerobid doesn't. The first step-glycolosis-is in the cytoplasm. It creates 2 net ATP and puruvic acid.

In aerobic respiration, pyruvic acid is converted to acetylCoA before entering the Krebs Cycle, so the pyruvic acid wouldn't build up to high enough levels to change the indicator in the OF-glucose test. You can't trust answers posted by just anyone on the internet. I'm talking to you, students!
