People today can find out information instantly simply by opening their browser, so they learn much faster. Also they spend their time on it more than going outside, so they are more proned to stay indoors than go out nowadays. And communication is the major thing. Now people can chat to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

OK i think i have it..no matter who you are rich, poor ,black ,white it does not matter on the Internet everyone is the same.There is no social barrier. I can be poverty stricken using a computer at the library..or stinking rich with the latest technology.And it doesn't matter. OK this is not the "evolution of society" but it is society on the Internet..

The postal service may eventually be obsolete.

Children are often exposed to pornographic material at an early age.

People can meet who otherwise wouldn't. (I met my husband through the internet. We've been together for close to 6 years.)
