i have had A's and B's in all my other classes
i have taken many AP's and honors classes
i am planning to make up algebra 2 in the summer
my average GPA is 3.2

Do you have 3 years of math? If you make it up, you should be fine. Your GPA is above the minimum so you're just looking to make sure you have the subject requirements fulfilled.

If you're such a good student and have taken many AP and honor classes, why did you fail Algebra 2? That's the question that will enter the colleges' minds. I know people that have been rejected from comparable schools for having a D, so an F will certainly look no better. I would definitely have a safety school lined up.
