No, you're not.. I've never watched it, or any other reality show. I just can't stand how dumb people look when they get too involved in them.

No you aren't the only one. I am one of the few who doesn't watch American Idol. I haven't watched it since it began. I find it annoying and at times degrading for the contestants. The poor schlubbs have to listen to some English bloke rant and rave and complain that they aren't singing well enough to be pleasing to his ear. Then you have Paula.....What a lush she's turned into. She goes and consoles the contestants after Simon brings them to tears. Lastly, you have Randy Jackson. All I hear from him is, "You were the bomb, Dawg." I can't understand why it's still on.

Join the club; I think reality TV is laughable, and NOT in the sense that it's humorous! I can't imagine why anybody would willingly watch the stuff, but I guess it just proves that it takes all kinds, no?

I HATE American Idol. I can't stand Survivor, and I pity the idiots who participate on these shows. How can they suffer the self degradation?

No do not worry you are not the only one out there...I only saw the very first season coz I thought it was something new and exciting, but since then I just lost all hope for the show, and this season apparently even proves it more so that the voting system doesn't necessarily reward the talented...as with that Sanjayai kid..

The show is very lax on their "rules" how they punish Frenchie Davis for posing in lingerie for a magazine for money when she was younger, but not punishing this years girl for having sexual photos posted of her online....it's just bs...

Apparently you aren't missing much anyhow...

I agree!! I haven't yet seen a show that is watchable, and American Idol is a prime example, with the newest rave, the young kid who can't sing, but everyone is voting for him, because he is "cute". It's a joke.
And don't even get me started on "Deal or No Deal". There is talk about the dumbing down of America....I can see it.

LOL I asked a question last night about who was going to vote for who, and a lot of them stated that they don't even watch the show anymore because they are tired of Sanjaya getting through. You aren't the only one out there, believe me. I only watch it to see if he keeps on making it through...I think it is an addiction with me this year because of that. (I voted for Gina 9 times last night lol)
