The ingredient you are referring to is actually Kangaroo Paw Flower. It is a plant not real paws from kangaroos.

Speaking as an Australian, there are no beauty products (or any products) for that matter that have "Kangaroo Paw" in it...whoever told you that hasn't done their research.
The only thing that could possibly be the root of this idea is that kangaroo meat is served in some restaurants, but it is just like any other meat like lamb or pork etc.
Oh, and perhaps you heard of Paw Paw Ointment which is a great Australian beauty product, but it's made of the PAW PAW fruit, no animal there.

If that is true, it's inhumane. Taking the body parts of an animal for hair products? That is just wrong. The perfect hairstyle isn't worth a life. Not a fraction of a life. I will never give Aussie another cent. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. It is unbelievably wrong.

Let me be the first to say "Oh my God!" i'm a huge animal rights advocate and I had no idea about this, if you could e-mail me i'd love to read the research done on this and just general information about it. Reguarding your question, yes I think it's quite disgusting not to mention immoral, vulgar, idiotic, and i'm sure cruel.
