Definitely!!!

Many of the actors, directors, and writers came from highly disciplined, classical performing arts backgrounds, such as theater, ballet, even vaudeville. Actors, especially, had to be multi-talented.

These higher standards of quality are seen in many old movies, such as one of my favorite classics, Singin' In the Rain.

I love everything that is good. From the old silents, (Sunrise, Passion of Joan of Arc, Sherlock Jr) through the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s...etc.

A real film fan spans all decades.

I really love old movies. My favorites always have Cary Grant in them. He was the quintessential man. That accent and the way he carried himself.
I saw one this weekend for the first time and it made me cry. It was called My Foolish Heart. It starred Susan Hayward. So beautiful and tragic.
