most thin people go back to being thin with out doing much. when you are already overweight its like a magnet! dont worry you are young and were very thin before. You should snap back no problem.

I wouldn't worry about your weight. Especially since your young. I was 24yrs old and 5'2 100 lbs when I got pregnant. By the end of my pregnancy I weighed 152. After 9 months I am down to 121. It's a slow process and I don't think I will ever be a size 0-3 again. My daughter was born at 4 lbs 12 oz's. You just have to enjoy your little one and understand your body doesn't always go back. Good luck.

I too am 5'2 and was 110 lbs. I have 4 beautiful children. I just had a baby 2 months ago and I gained 50 lbs. I was 120 lbs before I got pregnant. I am now 137 lbs. I gained 60 lbs with my 2nd child and 50 lbs with my 3rd. Breastfeeding helps loose weight and eating right. I also started exercising, i bought an ab lounge...3x a week when my son naps in the morning.

i am about your size and gained 28 pounds. two days after i had my daughter (she was 7lbs), i weighed myself and was horrified to find that i only lost 7 lbs! However, each day after I got home from the hospital, I began to lose 2-3lbs/day! I was peeing alot so I was losing mostly water weight. In the first 2 weeks, I lost about 12 pounds. Then I started hitting the gym and by the second month post-partum I lost all the weight that I gained. Breastfeeding also helps you to lose weight so i highly recommend doing that. Don't worry, you will be back to your natural weight in no time. Concentrate on how you gave birth to a healthy baby!

When I became preggers I was 103 pounds. At 41 weeks pregnant I was 148 so I gained 45 pounds. At my 6 week checkup I weighed 116, so I lost quite a bit of it in a short time. And I defintely was not excersing at that time!So don't worry. Once that baby comes, no matter how much weight you have left to loose, you will think you look fantastic to what you used to look like!

i too lost 20 some lbs the first week to two weeks after. i gained about 40 lbs too. i am working now on my lat 10 lbs and my baby is 10 weeks. i walk when i can and count calories. they want you to eat about 2200 a day if breastfeeding, a little less if not. the weight you have is good. 71/2lbs of baby, amniotic fluid, water retention in body, boobs, and extra blood now that your body is getting ready to lose some. sorry to tell you the other half is the donuts and pizza weight you gained which was necessary to house your little on. youll be fine, just watch stress and overeating when the baby comes. i had that problem twice and made the weight loss harder. also the breastfeeding burns calories, score!!!!drink lots of water and eat energy foods. good luck, when that baby comes, sleep is more important to you than weight.lol

I gained 25 pounds during my pregnancy. I lost 10 pounds the first week. After breastfeeding I lost another 10 pounds within the next month. I still have five more to go.

Well even though the baby is only 7 pounds, there's also a lot of weight in the amniotic fluid/sac as well, not to mention all that water you're retaining and the extra blood that is circulated through your system. It all adds up to ATLEAST 15 pounds......
Also if you breast feed it comes off faster as that drains your fat stores.
Don't stress it.... a good reasonable diet will get you back to normal within a 6-12 months.

My son is now 4 weeks, and I lost 20 pounds right away. The other 20 is taking a little longer to come off, but they say "9 months on, 9 months off". Good luck!

I gained 32 pounds while preggo, and lost each every pound by my son's two week appointment!! I didn't exercise or anything, I was TOO tired and sore. I do breastfeed, so I guess that helped:) Good Luck, and don't worry about your weight so much, enjoy your baby!!!
