yes i do agree with u. india has rich culture & tradition. they need not ape the stars in the films by putting on the songs from the films & dance to their tunes. they have many types of dances like folk dance. classical dance etc all these dances which reflects our culture & tradition have taken a back seat because of these pre recorded film songs.but may be it is easier to dance to other tunes i think.it is easy to ape othere than being original

im indian and it's a way to show other people your culture. when you cook special foods from a country, people sometimes understand more about that country's culture. and if you look at it from a different point of view, it is hard. it is just like dancing to any song, and any dance can be hard... not just indian dances. probably, if you havent seen the dances before, it will be pretty amazing! it is also very fun!

it's tradition & culture for them. dances & songs celebrate things like mother nature, the earth, animal spirits & other stuff that's sacred to them(or at least that's why the native americans danced a long time ago & some even still do that, but i'm not indian, so i wouldn't know).

Why is this directed to only indian ppl? Its not only Indian its everyone. So yeah we can all dance but why is it bad to think to be able to dance is a great talent? I mean if no one could dance it would be saddening. Its just a matter of opinion but its not only Indian ppl. Its also asians, whites, blacks, hispanics etc

Jai Ho would be greater sturdy to abdomen dance to reason that's initially a Bollywood song, yet Bollywood dancing and abdomen dancing are close, yet between those to song i'd bypass with the 2nd or a type of songs captivating Liar, Hips do no longer lie, or i wanna see you abdomen dance

I think dancing is a wonderful talent. Not everybody can move according to the RHYTHM of a song or music. If its inborn then its great though I don't support practiced dances.C'mon if they do pay us then why worry?Ready to practice for hours and hours if I' m going to get paid a reasonable amount of MONEY!

Just like the way africans dance to songs and think it is amazing??? It is a part of their culture. Just keep an open mind about it and let them be.

Not one kind of music is "the best music" similarly not one kind of dance is "the best dance". In other words there's no "right" way to dance, everybody dances differently. Just like everyone speaks different language.

It's FUN. Not that I would do it myself...but I have read that dancing is one of the best ways to increase the 'feel good' factor in life.

Sorry, you jaded little whelp. Everyone cannot dance well. They may be able to move to rhythms, but not necessarily dance.
Secondly, just because you think a particular style looks easy.does not mean it is.
