I am not conservative or liberal in the extreme way of looking at things. I tend to agree with one "side" or the other depending on the issue at hand.
I do agree with stopping the insults, not just in the case of the President, I mean stop all of the insults. This is a childish mentality and serves no constructive purpose.
I hope you feel the same in 2008 in case a Dem wins. I would be very disappointed to read a post by you about "Hitlery."

I also think he is a genuinely good person. While I certainly do not agree with him on everything, I also think he is the most courageous President we have had in decades. And he has handled situations during his presidency that I shutter to think how others might have.
I respect the office. Our last President nearly destroyed that with his personal character, but I managed to hold onto to it.
I think all the bashers have gone over the edge and just can't stop at this point. Look how they jump at the questions on here with viscous remarks. Put that energy towards making something positive happen!

Just because someone is a good person in private doesn't mean that he makes a good leader. I agree however, don't bash the guy, bash the actions. After all, he is still human, and he has his flaws, just like everyone else.

Bush is no leader! The last 6 years are unrefutable proof. He is, obviously, a divider , though. A prooven liar, failure and spinner. You say Bush is a good person? Good for having innocent Iraqi woman and children bombed and murdered? Good for lying to our face? Iraq IS not better off now. So what GOOD has Bush done?
"Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President."

If you think you're the only one entitled to voice your opinion then you're in the wrong country. Even GW would tell you that Americans have the right to free speech. It's in this little thing we call the Constitution.

Bush may not be the best president and he may not be a hero. No one is perfect, not even the president and of course Sudam Hussein

What part of democracy or free speech do you not understand. He's an elected President not a dictator. Grow up.

He's a "genuine good person"? Why...? Because all Christians are automatically good people?

He has done everything he could to help us and the Iraqis.
He may have had bad info, however I feel he should not be treated like he has been, it's not like he cheated on his wife in the oval office.

I agree with you. And probably half the people who say that he is a lying , cheat, no good,,,,,,, probably voted for him in the last two elections. You can insult him if you didn't vote for him, but if you did vote for him. Its you fault he's in there so shut ur mouth and stick with your choice.
