I have been to some great ones-- and I think my favorites are by U2 and Michael W. Smith.

Actually, when I was younger, I saw Led Zepplin. It was the best concert I had ever seen!

Ooh good question! I've seen U2 in concert 4 times, but the two best were when I saw them in 1997 during the Popmart Tour in Detroit and in 2005 when I saw them in Dublin during the Vertigo Tour. A U2 concert is a religious experience. Awesome!
Honorable mention to James Taylor. I saw him about 10 or 11 years ago in a small venue and he was great, cracking jokes and really engaging with the crowd. And you can't beat his sweet voice and that acoustic guitar.

The Stones...
I saw them just recently, and they can still rock so much better than 99% of the band out there today. Mick and Keith and Charlie and Ron were all as phenomenal as they were in their height, even with orthopedic shoes. I waited 10 hours for front row, and the incredible show they put on was worth every second of waiting outside without water in the Texas heat.
The stage was 6 stories high, and replete with flamethrowers. When they turned on the ones at the front of the stage, the first 25 rows ducked, but it was an honor to get my eyebrows singed off by Mick Jagger (kidding).

Paul Simon outdoors at night on the San Diego bay ... it was a pleasure to hear well-performed EXCELLENT music with a great sound-system and a great entertainer and the musical genius of PS himself! (about 6 months ago)
Stones in 2nd place even if my ears rang for a week (20 years ago )
Pablo Casals sitting 2 feet away playing cello duet with my fine-arts prof was best clasical concert ever

Hands down Rancid, I've been into those guys over a decade and they never disappoint. But the Street Dogs will give anybody a run for their money on any night...go see both these bands.

panic! at the disco.
i went with my friends this december. it was sooo much fun!!!!
they were sooo good && my cousin almost caught the drumstick they threw!! that was like the best night ever!! and i lost my voice for like a week!!!!
