Kobe Bryant has been suspended in two games this year for supposedly hitting players on purpose. Yesterday Paul Gasol hit Kobe (what seemed like in purpose). So should Gasol be suspended or fined.

No that was not intentional. Gasol's arm came back up as a reflex. Kobe slams his arm down on guys, Gasol back hands Kobe in the face most likely unintentionally and he gets on the ground like a little pussy. Thats Kobe for ya!

I understand where you are coming from but unlike Kobe's hits what Gasol did was a clear cut accident. He doesn't even see Kobe and he's simply repositioning himself and Kobe just happened to be in the way. The hits Kobe got suspended for were suspicious.

Nah, that looked unintentional. Kobe's hit on Ginobili and Jaric were the most unnatural shooting forms ever. It looked like Gasol just had a reflex as Kobe smacked the ball down, might have gotten a bit of Gasol's hand. It's still a judgement call.

If the precedent was set with Kobe being suspended for the elbows he threw then Gasol should be suspended also. Of course Kobe shouldn't have been suspended in the first place, the NBA is being too cautious with its image right now and feels that the fans are scared of big black men with tatoos, so Stu Jackson and David Stern overreact to everything. Does anybody remember how rough and dirty the 80's were? Remember when it was ok for teams to hate each other and occasionally fight?

I agree! Pau Gasol should be suspended just like Kobe did earlier this year. That's okay, I am so sure the next game that Memphis plays, their opponents will demolish them on the scoreboard.

NOWAY hitting kobe is ok because im sure there is a loop hole through that one in league rules involving kobe haha. im sure gasol would get away from this one even if he chased kobe with a baseball bat on the court haha
