Gemini and Sagittarius are both masculine signs. That can unbalance things somewhat.
You should also know where the water is in each of your houses. Water is the bonding and emotional element. Sag is fire and Gem is air. Air makes fire burn, and that can make for some sexy heat, but once it's gone, there's nothing left but ashes, making for a pretty dry and dusty relationship.
Usually gemini gets a little more out of the relationship because sag is generous and doesn't always work from an angle for advantage, especially in love.

I have a Gemini males coworker that has been with a Sagittarius wife 22 years and they have been together 27 years. They are total opposites but it makes their relationship interesting. The Gemini puts things off which drivers her nuts and he has to get his priorities in order. The Sagittarius wife needs to be pushed into going out and having fun and leaving her home and parental duties for a night.

Gemini and Sagg are oppisites on the astrological wheel. They fall in each others 7th house of marriage. I am a Gemini, and the greatest love of my life was a Sagg. My sagg passed away three years ago, and my life will surely never be the same. It wasn't a perfect relationship by any means,but he was my heart, and lover, and lifelong friend.
