This trick is for begginers, don't do it twice to the same person or they'll find out the secret.
Materials:
1 glass (no coffee cups or anything else)
white paper
clear tape
any kind of coin
Steps:
1. Get the glass and cut out some paper so it fits around the rim of the glass. tape the circular shaped paper on it. make sure there is no paper haning off
2. cut of the paper so it doesn't look like you cut a cup's rim shape out of it.
3. put the _____(coin) down on the white paper, then put the glass down on the paper over the coin.

Sure, I know of some magic tricks that don't require a lot of materials:
We know there are 3 parts of magic:
no 1. the pledge: You let your audience see the object
no 2. the turn: You let the object disappear
no. 3: the prestige: You make the reappear
1) The disappearing salt shaker
Materials: salt shaker, paper,table
step 1: Wrap the salt shaker in paper. The paper will take the shape of the salt shaker.
step 2: This is the pledge.Let some of your audiences touch the paper wrapped salt shaker to let them know the salt shaker's still inside.
step 3: This is the turn. Put the paper wrapped salt shaker near your legs and let the salt shaker fall. The paper is still shaped like the salt shaker. Make sure the audience doesn't see it.
step 4: Now you've fooled the audience into making them think the salt shaker is still inside but it's actually on your legs. All you have to do now is to leave them in awe. To do this, put the salt shaker shaped paper on the table and simply flatten the paper with your bear hands.
step 5: this is the prestige. The audience now thinks the salt shaker has disappeared. To make it reappear, simply take the salt shaker from your legs. That's it. :)
2) Drop a penny to a plate
Materials: 2 pennies, plate, glass, soap, table, paper, magic wand (anything, a stick, ruler etc.)
step 1: Rub some soap on the plate then stick a penny. The penny will not fall. Do this before you present to the audience.
step 2: Now your in front of your audience, make sure you place the plate upside down so they will not see the penny.
step 3: Wrap a penny in a paper. Don't tell the audience you have 2 of these.
step 4: Place the plate upside down above the glass.
step 5: Put the paper wrapped penny above the plate.
step 6: Beat the plate with your wand. The penny in the plate will fall o the glass. Now you've fooled your audience into making them think the penny wrapped paper in paper went through the plate and fell to the glass.
