Yeah, uh no.

Do you even know what an IQ is? Most Adults IQ cannot even be tested in reality because IQ is the mental age divided by the Chrono. age then multiplied by 100.

You can really only test a young child's IQ simply because the child may be say 6 years old, but think like a 11 year old. As you grow older every ones IQ starts to level... Especially when you get to the age of becoming president.

The reason it is s hard to test in adults is because the IQ test was developed when the French (I think) made school mandatory, but then found that some kids learned slower than others... So Alfred Binet created a test to learn what students will prosper faster in school.

If you're trying to become president you're not going to be able to test how someone is going learn in the coming years of schooling simply because they have already graduated.... So therefore the grades in High school and college becomes the best IQ check.

Also the fact that IQ has nothing to do with being successful... It's just that statistics show that higher IQ's are more likely to succeed.

In theory, when a candidate gets up in front of the media and speaks as if he has an IQ of 65, the informed voting public thinks to itself, "Hmmmmmm, this guy is a moron. I'd better not vote for him". This SHOULD be a sort of IQ test.

Unfortunately, in practice, the informed voting public sometimes sees a guy with an IQ of 65 and decides, for whatever reason, that he would make a good president...

You'll start getting into some horrifying territory there. Perhaps we should have them genetically tested too? Wouldn't want a president who's susceptible to cancer, would we?

It's better to let the people decide for themselves. Look what happened when the Supreme Court picked for us in 2000!

yes! Any other american in order to get a job in the USA has to take a drug test, back ground check, and in some of them a test. Bush cheated on his tests I bet ;) had Cheney do them that is why he has to ask Cheney about everything.

How about we give VOTERS an IQ test? Then we wouldn't have to put up with the sort of people that get elected now.

If so, we would have to rule out the entire Democratic Party from obtaining the Oval Office.
