Being hermaphroditic used to be considered by many cultures as being a rare and wonderful thing.

Unfortunately in the USA (and many other countries) they now force all parents that have hermaphroditic children to make a decision at birth to have their child "fixed". When the parents make their choice the child is permanently made into a boy or girl.

So sad.

In answer to you question, in my opinion it would be impossible. I believe that technically a if they have fully developed ovaries they are thought of as being a she, even if she chooses to live a male lifestyle.

So then I guess someone else could argue that one was a lesbian.

Some women are actually vestigially hermaphroditic and never know because the estrogen levels prevent development.

Homosexuality develops. It's not chosen. This means that anyone at birth has the same chance (5-10%) of being homosexual. So in answer to your question. Yes a hermaphrodite has the same chance of being homosexual as anyone else.

If you are trying to be cleverrr,

a hermaphrodite has the genitals of both a male and female, but their is more that determines gender than sexual parts. They will be either male OR female in mindset and whatnot. So they are homosexual if they like the same gender as them in mindset.

~Attraction doesn't need to be physical.

Certainly. Intersexed people (or, as you call them, 'hermaphrodites') can have the wide-range of sexual orientations that any person can have- to men, women, both, transpeople, to other intersexed people, to nobody. Your body doesn't determine your desires.

So, yes, it's possible. Either the intersexed individual will identity as either male or female, and may then be attracted to the same, making them homosexual, or the person will identify as neither or a third sex and be attracted to others who similarly identify. Both of those would fall under 'homosexual'.

Hope that helps.

If you consider hermaphrodites a 3rd gender, then yes it is possible.

If a hermaphrodite is attracted to a man or woman, he is heterosexual (attracted to a different gender).

If a hermaphrodite is attracted to another hermaphrodite, he's a homosexual (attracted to the same gender)

People are not hemaphrodidic. Some people are born with an inter-sexed birth defect, but that is not the same thing as being a hermaphrodite. That word is considered very insulting to people born with this terrible problem.

But yes.... I suppose someone with this birth defect could be attracted to someone else with the same birth defect. Why not.

well,,lets examine this rationally,,, if a morhph has charateristics of both genders, that part of him, her, if having sex, would be having sex, witht the same sex, and also a different sex,,so,,this leaves the theory, that he/she,,would be engaging in both homo, and hetero sex. Bet a morph is as confused as I am! I have no idea what it must be like,,so, some sympathy is there. for some one to be homo, out right,, is a choice,,,because no will make that choice for you. a tranny,on the other hand, in my own opinion, has some screws stripped out.( and I stay away from dangerous machinery)
