i like to do it in pieces. One day laundry, one day vacuuming, one dusting, and one cleaning bathrooms and one cleaning the hard floors. This way it doesn't seem soooo overwhelming and you still have the weekend! Not to mention your house is getting cleaned once a week just not all at once!

When I get home to clean I won't even seat down or nothing. I will start with sweeping then dishes and so on and so on. If you keep on telling yourself that you are sleepy then your body will shut down. But if you keep your self busy and think about cleaning then everything should work out fine.

i usually do a deep cleaning on the weekend. i clean the bathroom, floors, bedrooms, laundry...then for the rest of the week i wash the dishes everyday, and clean as i go. that way my house remains clean all week. when the weekend comes again the deep cleaning becomes less, and it becomes a habit!

If you are anything like me you get stressed out until you clean it.. so leaving it isnt a good option. Give it a good cleaning, and promise yourself to consistantly pick things up...that way it will never get overwhelming to you.

I too am in your same boat... I just leave it all for the weekends... or make hubby help me... he's usually quite helpful... so I don't feel like a basket case! Just take it easy... your health is more important than a dirty house. Don't over do yourself... do stuff in moderation.

Brew a cup of coffee, (or go to Starbucks!), and play some really loud music.
