She is my favorite singer of all time! Yes, I do believe she is in heaven. She has touched so many people's life by her inspiring music....although she lost her life to drugs, we all love her, and we know that she is in a better place singing better than ever! RIP Janis!

i did and he is my best friend and I am born Jewish-she was a great artist but also a drug addict and one woman on your answers says a dyke-i dont know it that is true Romans 1 -if it is would get her delivered too

No she is dead........if there is a heaven and hell they are both here on this earth. Life can be heaven or how...you decide.
She however has been eaten by worms long ago and is merely now justa pile of old bones.

Yeah, of course! She holds concerts (as big as Woodstock so I heard) in that great mosh pit in the sky. Yeah, she is still rockin' it out!
