It’s anyone’s guess. The 17 week NFL season is a long one.

The AFC is going to be a mad house this season. The Patriots have made some pretty serious moves during free agency. It will be interesting to see what happens in the draft. The Colt’s are pretty much intact so they will be strong from the beginning. Watch out for Miami to make a splash. San Diego is a good squad but with the changes going on in their camp they could falter during the season. Baltimore is solid but lost some of their D'. Pittsburg, KC & Denver are always right in the mix. Wildcards in the AFC could be Jacksonville or Cincinnati.

In the NFC Chicago and Seattle are the big hitters. New Orleans is still an offensive powerhouse but not enough defense to win in the playoffs. Dallas may string some wins together but I don't expect much in the post season. All in all the NFC is the much weaker division.

My personal hope is the Indianapolis Colts will re-peat but you never really know for sure.

i would say the bears, if the keep going like they did last year. The colts, I don't think so because look the colts have been good for how many years and they have only won one superbowl. hmm questionable...

The Patriots. This is a team that made the conference championship, and have been the most active in the off-season, especially to the receiving corps, the teams biggest weakness. They still have they draft to help with depth. If the Pats have home field in the playoffs, they will be tough to beat

My pre season favorite would be the Patriots. I'm rooting, as always, for the Chiefs though. There is only one certainty about next years superbowl, an NFC team will not hoist the Lombardi trophy.
