Why is it on here it seems everyone hates George Bush. But when I am out and about on the street everyone likes him, some don't agree with the war but they still think he is a good President. Granted there were a few who hated him, but the supporters outnumbered the haters.I am talking areas like Chicago, Dallas, LA, Las Vegas, San Diego, Spokane I hear this. Just got this info from people at buisness meating, bars, resturants, just small talk you know.I am a firm supporter of are President. Think he is doing a great job
So I figured maybe most Bush Bashers are on TV and on here. Is that a safe assumption????
I know people are going to bash me for this but just what I think now, we did reelect him so the Majority of people must like him

I'm an electrician, I travel to these cities for big jobs doing blue collared electrical work. I do this when I am not in reserve duty. Not a CEO or anything.

The last polls before the presidential election said John Kerry was going to win. I didn't see them to much for the congress elections.

I find the same thing. The left are just louder. Conservatives are more mannered. Maybe it is upbringing. That is why they always act so shocked after an election goes against them. Then they get louder with all kinds of ridiculous accusations of fraud. They seem to get so crazed in the retaliation. It is embarrassing and is what turned me from that party. I try to support our leaders, our military, capitalism, free-enterprise, a serious work ethic, and the things that have made us a great nation

The real Bush supporters let their voting do the talking and are mature enough to not start the mudslinging and make fools of themselves on television. Just because the polls talk about support for Bush being at like 27% doesn't mean anything. All this mean is the people that do support Bush, only vote on that kinda stuff when it counts. A perfect example would be when the polls favored both John Kerry and Al Gore before the elections, but Bush won.

It could be that people just don't want to get into an argument or you just hang out with similar people in every city. I don't think that is a safe assumption because I know a lot of people who dislike the President's way of action and a lot who are okay with his actions. Sure the polls could be a little off, but I think there are a lot of people who disapprove and a lot who approve.

A safe assumption is that the percentage on here and what the alleged polling data shows isnt even closer to reality.
Yes there are people upset about things. But not like people would have you believe.

Maybe you're only talking to people who are just like you?
Because reliable polls show that somewhere between 66% and 70% of Americans don't like Bush, don't think he's done a good job, don't believe him anymore and think he's run our country into a ditch that it will take decades to recover from.

apparently you live in an alternate universe... all I hear is bashing... even from conservatives that are sick of his spending?
wait... I KNOW WHAT IT IS... you're wealthy, and run in wealthy circles... RIGHT... I mean who else goes to all those cites?
well, the other 85 percent of America that you probably don't associate with really aren't big fans...
or maybe people just say that to change the subject because you come off as an annoying blowhard that wants to make an issue out of it, when it's clear you're not worth the trouble of argueing with? (or course I don't know you, but I've met the type...)

I'd like to start that I seriously commend your actions, it takes guts. Yes, GW still has some supporters, but the polls normally don't lie. The approval rating is still in the basement. Pollsters ask average Americans, and lots of them.

I think that you pretty much hit the nail on the head. News is more interesting if there is controversy. While we are all watching the news and getting ticked off about this, that, or the other, those news channels are getting rich.
