I need to know the role of religion under the power of joseph stalin. ive tryed to search and I cant find anything.

There was no religion, Stalin ran pogroms against the Jews and effectively shut down all Christian churches in Russia. As for his personal life, he was sent to a monastary by his mother so he would not be forced to serve in the Czar's Army.

Joseph Stalin had his own idea of religion in the Soviet Union. He violently opposed anyone who worshiped as they wished.
