but it is also said that the man gave the woman a baby which she desired?

when a child is born whos is it???

Nooo people you first 5 have the wrong Idea sorry I didnt explain it more like I wanted - I thought people would have cottoned on

I mean when people say it in general and when taking into account the stereo typical roles of a couple bringing a child into this world is it possible to argue more for one side than the other???

Exactly, it's both of theirs. There's no getting around it :-) Genes from both parents are joined to create the child.

Well, I would say it was part of both of them, wouldn't you? That's why having a baby with someone you love is so lovely.
