'Cause when you open your mouth and raise your eyebrows, it stretches out the skin around your eyes and makes it kind of tight (try it!). That way, the eye liner goes on more smoothly and there is less of a chance of you getting it somewhere where you don't want it.

I don't know why.... maybe its because they want perfection on there eyelid. I put I eyeliner and whenever I put it on I do noctice that I open my mouth when I do it.. in your head your telling yourself that you want the eyeliner line to be perfect not messed up.. which cause the signal from your head to go to your mouth which cause it to open but. Like.. artist who paint. They sometime open there mouth when they paint cause they was a perfect picture. Girls who put on there eyeliner while opening there mouth want a perfect eye makeup.
Im not so sure about this.. but its my opinion

Lol i can't help you with this question..because when i put on eyeliner i don't open my mouth for somereason. :S. But i do remember reading a article about it before..i just don't remember where. T_T sorry.

its just the way we do it! the same with mascara! it helps open the eye more so we can get a straighter line and mascara on the whole eyelash!

we do it MORE when we put our mascara
have noticed this b4 and tried to pu mymascara on without opening my mouth and it just impossible dont know why :)

well i dont.
but its usually easier because it opens the bottom of the eye more so they can actually put the eyeliner on better
