Ok, so I haven't followed comic books since I was a kid. What's the story behind Spiderman's black suit?

This God-like guy (The Beyonder) takes marvel's heroes and bad guys and places them on another planet like earth. spider-man stumbles upon this gloop on this planet that becomes a cool costume that can do many things. When he gets back to earth, a foe of his called the Puma (with a great sense of smell) tells Spidey that the costume is alive.

Spidey then goes to Reed Richards (Super intelligent leader of the Fantastic Four) to find out more about the costume. Richards tell him it's a symbiote that is basically feeding off of him. He then shoots it with a sonic disruptor and the costume comes off of Spidey.

This costume escapes from Richard's labs and becomes chummy with a competing photographer of Peter's named Eddie Brock. Who then becomes the foul foe named Venom.

Venom's symbiote somehow got into spiderman on time and made his suit black and it kind of controls him a little bit

In the TV cartoon, the symbiote was the suite. It "read" Parker's mind and gave him any appearance he could imagine as far as clothes go. The black might have been chosen as part of a dark side of Parker's nature. Another symbiote is red.

He gets the black suit when an alien comes to earth and it likes find him and then spiderman n the alien become one. So the alien becomes his suit.

After that the alien becomes evil and tries to turn peter evil. Spiderman then gets rid of the alien. But it manages to come back, this time the alien doesnt get peter it gets his friend. Then they become Venom.
