Maybe:

"The heart is what should matter, not words?"

Words are just words. And your deeds which you do with your heart, is what matters.
The things you do define the type of man you are.
It wil let the world see who you are. Words are just bla.
Cuz, If youre a coward you do cowardly deeds. And vice versa.

"My values hold strong and make me a man"

Then in turn the things you do and type of man you are is
plotted through your beliefs.
If you have strong beliefs or "values", you also set strong psych. boundaries.
It means you cannot be easily manipulated by others who can invade your psych. boundaries through insecurity
and try and change you for their own benefit.

Boundaries are what makes you a man.
But it doesnt say what type of man you are or what you
should believe.

I just made this up.
Please give me credit when you use this.

No matter what your heart feels, words once spoken can never be taken back. YOU are responsible for your thoughts, actions, and your words. So, choose them carefully. You can't possibly believe that what you say doesn't matter, can you? And by the way, it didn't take guts to respond to your question, just common sense and life experience. Best wishes to you.

Sure, I will take the challenge! While I agree that values and heart matter very much, I would not discount words. Because words are very powerful. Our words should match our values and heart, and this congruence, between values, heart and words, are what makes the man.
