every now and then audio clips start playing on my computer. but all my programs are closed and my internet explore is not open. i eventually have to either log off or restart in order to stop the clips from playing. can anyone tell me what i can do?

Probably Adware. Download Spybot Search & Destroy to remove it.

Congratulations, you have been hacked! Your computer is probably a zombie, and is remote controlled from somewhere else. Zombie computers are often used for illegal activity. Power your computer off and unplug it until you can reload the OS. Next time, get rid of that virus magnet Windows! (How did I know you had Windows? Because neither open source, nor Mac get infected with 114,000 virii that is probably infecting yours.) Get a good open source OS instead, such as Kubuntu at www.kubuntu.org.

hmmm thats weird try calling your internet provider or your computer help people there should b an 800 number on some kind of bill

you probably have some spyware or something like that on your computer. Also anything next to your clock is also a running program even if it is "Closed"....check there if you continue to have problems.

u means as pop up??? the its spyware on your computer.. you may want to use sytem restore..to get to an early date when everythign was fine..

START>ALLRPOGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>SYSTEM RESTORE..pick a date and your done... after that you may want to get SPysweeper. good luck
