Knowledge is power, but lack of knowledge doesn't mean you have to make stupid decisions.
I can't tell you the number of people I see on Yahoo Answers that have made dumb decisions in their lives and post questions asking for unrealistic solutions.
We have been given the gift of thought. Why are so many people incapable of using their minds and asking "If I do X, what are the benefits and drawbacks in the future?
Your credit sucks? Did you never think you had to pay the money back that you borrowed? Car Dealer ripped you off? Did you not read the terms before signing? Your husband treating you like crap? Well, didn't you take a little time to think about what he was really like and what might likely happen before you got married? The list goes on.
THINK PEOPLE! Use your mind. Spend just a few minutes, just a few, asking yourself what will happen if you do something. If you don't know, find out before doing it!!!!

Yes, yes, yes, it is amazing how many people just don't THINK!
I also get so frustrated listening to people that just don't make smart choices.
Those that don't agree with you are afraid that you are talking about them. ;)

"BRAVO"...,if only...you are sooo right,"sort of",the problem however is not solely stupidity..unfortunately a lot of people live there lives based on emotions,(that's where the stupid comes in)..and sometimes passion can take over reason,as we mature it is hopeful that people gain control of there "feelings" and have common sense, and make reasonable decisions...this is not always the case,(this is where your stupid theory comes in)...and it can be a bit frustrating for those of us who do use logic,I just try to correct, with reason, and move on past the utter immaturity, and believe me the immaturity is not just the kids, sadly it is the aged too...so stay calm and feel blessed that you have a handle and are mature in your logic,it gets me through...It would be nice to have more thought provoking dialog here,I think it will come in time...

Well, I mean we do learn from our mistakes, and sometimes we just need insight from other people to see if what we feel is actually right. Not everyone can make the right and perfect decisions, especially depending on the situations.

far to many people rely on the "it was always done that way " theory of living. We are not taught to think we are taught to follow. think of it... in school we are graded on how we think like others and usually get low grades if we think for ourselves. Not because we are wrong but because it didn't match the answer the teacher had in his or her book. Try telling that to a teacher who doesn't think...

Some people have to learn the hard way because they didn't have a father to teach them how to handle the hard knocks of life (me). Whatever reason, you eventually learn, because NOT learning and repeating mistakes over and over is a sign of retardation or some other problem.

Hindsight is always 20/20...no one can predict the future...only make the best decision they can based on the information they have at the time.

I agree with you, and like you, I used to get upset. YOu need to realize, the world needs stupid people. If everyone was smart, who would serve us $4 for a cup of coffee and want a tip? WOuld would be there asking us "paper or plastic"? and who for god's sake would serve us delicious fast food? Give dumb people a break, please!

Hi there are many many individuals with severe dysfunctÃons, many addicts, many manipulated, and so on.. the term "people" hides all thoose categories.
Next day it can be you who stumble and got a braindamage then how rational you can be?
Think about it...
