Chances are when you were spotting, you had a threatened miscarriage and when you started your period, you had an early miscarriage.
I've had one too. I would make an appointment with the doctor though. You are not going to be pregnant though, sorry.

There is the possibility you could have been pregnant and miscarried. The symptoms of a miscarriage are vaginal bleeding (from a few drops to a heavy flow) and uterine cramps in the lower abdomen or back before starting to bleed and after. I would recommened getting checked by a doctor as soon as you can to make sure the miscarriage was a complete one and you wont get sick or infertile if some is still in you if you were pregnant

Sex or any other illregular physical behavior (like spontaeous excersise) can cause your period to change or even dissapear or come late, do not worry to much about it, though I still recomend that you visit a doctor. But if you are having "spottings" of your period you might want to wait a few days, possible 1-2 weeks before worring too bad. Stress can also mess you up.

Definately should see a doctor either way its the best, if you did have a miscarriage you should get a pelvic examination anyways and if you are pregnant you need to find out as soon as possible. my mom always said better to be safe than sorry.

mostly a miscarriage if you WERE pregnant. just b/c you had sex and were late doesn't mean you were pregnant. If could be that your period is changing cycle dates...hence the big pain. if you want to be 100% get a birth control from the store.

I think you should take a test and than based on those results and your current situation ie:pain, soreness, amout of bleeding, length of period. Than if I was still worried I'd go to my Dr. or nearest health department

i believe that you can still do a urine pregnancy test because the pregnancy hormone that makes them positive, should be in your system for a few weeks.
