i'm thinking of buying an ipod nano and i need to know how many songs it can hold.

It's holds about 1000 songs depending on how long each song is. I had the ipod mini which had 4GB's

Assuming your MP3's are about the average size of 3-5MB. It should hold around 800 to 1000 MP3's.

Mine holds about 400, but it depends on the music file's size,...so it can vary.
