The cars that take this size as OE include:
The Pontiac GTO uses a 235/40R18 91W.
Volkwagon Passat's use a 235/40R18 95Y.
Volvo S60's use a 235/40R18 94V.
The Volvo S80 takes a 235/40R18 94Y.
The S60R AWD uses a 235/40R18XL 98Y.
As for the cars such a tire could fit, you can't find such a list. Nobody is going to go to the bother to make such a list. Besides, that could easily run into the hundreds of different models and sub-models spanning decades of production. Your asking the wrong question really. What car do you want to fit them to?

Google it. I'd try Googling for what the tire might be used. Type in tire chart. See what you get back, refine your search from there.

TRY GOING TO A TIRE SHOP AND LET THEM GIVE YOU A FEW SUGGESTIONS. THEY PROBABLY SEE VEHICLES ALL DAY LONG THAT ARE LOOKING FOR JUST WHAT YOU HAVE. PLUS IF YOU GIVE THEM A LITTLE MONEY THE WILL HELP SELL THEM FOR YOU.
