He's had a major impact on everyones lives in the last decade. His new labour did much in the early years to help the poorer parts of this country, and money has been invest heavily across the board. But for me the turning point has to be 9/11. I agree that Blair had to go to war in Afghanistan, the attacks were horrendous, but that started a shift away from Europe, and the country is still suffering as a result. This country pays billions to Europe yet it doesnt seem interested in fully integrating within the EU, it has raised taxes increasingly, but we see little if no improvement, where is the money going that once kick started new labour? Its going to foreign wars, Brussels, benefit frauds, african aid (that is helping dictators more than poverty stricken people), diversity programs that have no effect, more police (but with less powers????) etc.
I think Blair has wasted a great opportunity, will Labour recover in the next 5 or 10 yrs, only if the conservatives waste their opportunity to win back the people (believe me it could happen). WIll people look back on Tony Blair in a good light, probably when were all to old to remember and someone else has ruined this country.

yankee here. I think blair was a great friend to the U.S. and hopefully, the U.S. is a good friend to England. bush took blair down a bad road, and now he'll pay for being such a loyal ally.
hopefully, the brits hold bush accountable for the travesty in iraq. everybody was forced to trust the leader of the free world, and he proved to be a liar. if blair were anybody else, they'd be in trouble, too. I'm sorry we led britain and australia down this path.

If power corrupts, this man is the ooze that seeps out of corruption.

That's funny! Some Lib responded "the honest truth is...". Libs wouldn't know the honest truth if it bit them. Thanks for the laugh!

...but seriously, he's the best thing since Margaret Thatcher. And that's saying a lot. I know he's one of the only British politicians who understands the fight against Islamo-terrorism is a fight for the future of the West. Too bad he was surrounded by a left leaning media and an opposition party that drools at the thought of getting out of Iraq by any and all means. Even quitting in the middle of the fight.

I think Roy 'Chubby' Brown sang an excellent song which (I believe) he wrote for our illustrious PM.

It went something like
He's a C**T,
He's a *UN*,
He's a C - U - N - T
C**T...

I am sure the words must be available on the internet somewhere.

I think he is a weasel and a traitor to left wing politics. The sooner he goes the better.
