Oh dear.

Try applesauce: It is mild. And crackers.

Or you could try jello or vanilla ice cream. Other flavors of ice cream can be a little hard on an uneasy stomach.

Once the person is eating again, start adding back favorite foods. But remember not to eat too much at once: The stomach isn't going to be used to having food in it, after all.

Good luck!

Number one- why hasn't this person eaten in 4-5 days?
If its an ED- anything they eat is going to cause weight gain b/c your body will hoard it. as fat.
If its neglect or something else- A healthy meal. Not McDs.

Start with small meals and keep it light. Think crackers, chicken soup, stuff that goes down easy. Then move onto whatever sounds tasty. Just keep it simple and relatively healthy.

Baby food is best. Baby cereal is high in fiber and iron. Also try the fruit drinks made by naked, they are full of vitamins.

i would start with fruits. try apple sauce, dates, grapes, bananas, and other such things. fruit juices or milk too. this should help this person get used to eating again before he or she moves onto bigger stuff. You might also want to try Boost. Boost is loaded with nutrients and filling. it is like 360 calories and practically a meal all its own.

Something soft, easy to digest, and not spicy.

Scrambled eggs, oatmeal, ice cream, puddings or jellos, like that.
