his mom is like my mom we lived together for along time and i love him like a brother. the problem is i tell him everything because hes my bestfriend and i thought he tell me everything also but i think not. i just found out that he lied to me about how he got fired from his job. he slipped up and told me the truth during a conversation and i was like you didint tell me thats how you got fired when it happen. also all my friends and some family members think that he is gay. he have alot of gay friends and maybe he sometimes act like it but his mom wanted a girl and she do everything with him since he was small and so do i. i want to ask him but i feel like if it was he would have told me. am i wrong for being upset that he lied bout his job/?how can i ask him if hes gay or i shouldnt?

I don't think you should worry if he is gay or not. If he is he will tell you eventually. Some people take longer to come out because they are worried how people will react. In any event I wouldn't worry. It just doesn't matter.
As for him lying about how he got fired, maybe he was embarrassed at the time or something. You eventually found out the real reason why he was fired. Yes at the time you had a right to be upset, but if he apologised then you should put it behind you.

I would respect his feeling, if he wanted you to know his sexual preference he would have told you. I don't believe you should "out" him - just continue to be his best friend. Also he might have just not wanted you to know why he got fired, felt guilty or ashamed.
Don't judge him too badly.
We don't have to tell everything about our selfs, even to a best friend. And a best friend will respect it.
