I found a nice crib (made by Davinci, either the "jenny lind" one of they have an "Emily") but anyways... do I have to buy a seperate mattress??? Or don't they just come with one?
I assumed they came with one, but on the description it doens't say anything about one being included.

You must buy a mattress separately...no crib I have ever seen comes with one. You can get a really good one for about $150 (at least where I live). Make sure that it is high quality and very firm. Babies need a super firm mattress. Colgate makes some great ones. Go to www.colgatekids.com for a mattress buying guide.

detect a sparkling one (no longer used) that fits against the factors of the crib as comfortable as possible. you are able to push down on the mattress to work out if that is high quality or no longer. in case you are able to sense springs in the direction of the padding then do no longer purchase it. toddler's prefer a sturdy mattress. that is been approximately 6 years yet i think of the single i offered exchange right into a toddler posturpedic or something like that. I paid approximately $a hundred and fifty compaired to the $50 ones at Wal-Mart although that is extra ideal to purchase a sturdy mattress which will final them till they get a widespread mattress by using fact the toddler beds use a crib mattress too. i offered a water-resistant cloth mattress and used a plastic sided mattress conceal quite then buying a plastic lined mattress on condition that they tend to dry rot after the 1st 365 days or 2 and maximum little ones save employing their mattress for 4-5 years. sturdy success

It doesn't come with the mattress.
The best way to pick a mattress is not by price. Put the mattress on the floor and sit,lay on it . think about something that you would be comfortable sleeping on. Keep that in mind for your baby. Just because it is expensive doesn't mean it's comfortable. You want something that is medium. because it will supportive and firm at the same time.

I don't think they come together, just like if you look at furniture ads, the bedroom suites usually do not include a mattress. I ordered cribs online for my twins, then I went to Wal-Mart to get mattresses.

Nope, you have to buy a mattress seperately--anywhere from $50-200.

Usually you have to buy a separate one. They range in price from $50-$100 depending of what type you buy.
