I have most codec available, divx, xvid and all that stuff. And no , i dont need a video card because then my whole screen would be messed up, not just my videos. I can still stream videos and stuff. It videos in wmp AND other programs.

Maybe you need to update your media player or download some codecs. I had that problem on my older computer but not since.

You need to install some codec to make the video work

XP Codec Pack (http://www.xpcodecpack.com/) has most of the important codecs in an easy to use package.

And it dosnt come with spyware like a lot of other ones do.

you need to update the codecs on your pc to be able to play that type of video...

you require a divix player software install this software it will work.
