My grandfather, it has been ten years since he died but I still miss him. I wish I could just hug him one more time, and see if he is proud of the way my life is turning out.

My Dear Friend,
It is only God that has the power to raise somebody from the dead. However, we have not seen God but at least we read from the Holy Bible how Jesus The Christ, God personified, raised Lazarus from the dead even though the process of putrefaction had reached an advanced stage.
Secondly, I am assuming that if one has the power to raise the dead, then it is possible that he could still raise more dead. Since we all know that no body will live on this physical plane forever, it is likely that one who has that one-chance to raise a dead person, would save the chance for himself or herself.
Lastly for such a chance, they would actually raise somebody who will positively touch the lives of many. Well, there is also the tacit assumption that perhaps not only me have that one chance to raise the dead, others may have their one chance each. Now, what this will boil down to is that we would all try to live our lives in such a way that another could consider us worthy to use his chance for us.Thanks. Derefaka David Direh.

My grandmother. She died when my mom was four. She was pregnant and didn't want to be so she took an over the counter drug that was supposed to kill the fetus. Instead it killed her and the fetus. My grandfather re-married a horrible woman that beat my mom and treated her like a slave. Her dad died when she was sixteen so she married the first guy to come along when she was eighteen so she could get away from the abusive step-mom. The only problem was he beat her too. The first time was on their wedding night because she forgot to bring the pillows. She stayed married to him for seventeen years. She finally got up the courage to leave him but only because he tried to kill her and us four kids. I think if my grandmother would have lived my mom wouldn't have been beaten by the step-mom and wouldn't have married my abusive dad. She would be happier and less depressed.

Jesus so he could expose all the people using his name for the wrong reasons. And I'm not a Christian.

My Mom, because I still miss her so much! It's been almost 2 years now, everyone says it will get easier, but it hasn't.
