I'm so sorry your going through this, I lost 3 pregnancies at 4, 5 & 5 1/2 months. I finally had my son who is 5 years old. Just last year I encountered the problem with an eptopic pregnancy and I also had a tube removed, but in my case nothing has gone wrong with my sex drive. I had to force myself to wait the 6 to 8 weeks after surgery to have intercourse, but before the time was up, I found other ways of keeping my man satisfied. Up until now, I still don't know what its like to not want sex. I'm 38 and have been married for almost 20 years.

Just removing the fallopian tube should not effect your sex drive, so there might be something else going on. Did they remove your ovaries? The ovaries produce the hormones that effect sex drives. If this is the case you need to contact a good ob-gyn doctor and have a consultation about your situation. Also, you may be suffering from depression from having these problems, that would be natural. Good luck and God Bless.

If they took out your ovaries, then you've lost the female hormones producing part of the body, but your doctor should put you on estrogen if they did that. If they left your ovaries alone, the hormones stay the same and you should have a normal sex drive, biologically.
