Defiantly both because they knew it was wrong to do that and it would hert you. If they would do something to hurt you then there not the people you want to date or be friends with...
Good luck with your friendship and your relationship...
P.S
if you want to your friend you could talk to him and dump your girlfriend cuase you can always find a new girlfriend but not a new best friend

No point in hating them. 80% of the people you hate don't know and the other 20% don't care. So it really does you no good. Better to learn from it. De-Friend both of them. Neither was a true friend anyway.
In the future, maybe tell your new girl friend and your best friend to let you know ahead of time if they are going to screw you over.

This actually happened to me, but my boyfriend at the time had started sleeping with my friend! I still don't know who I blame more, him or her. On one hand, I know it was just because she was more sexually experienced than I was at the time, and what teenaged boy wouldn't go for that??? BUT, she should have waited until AFTER we broke up to get with him. I haven't spoken with either of them since.

The same , I would break off with my guy because I couldn't trust him and I would break off my friendship because she trully was not a friend of mine.

It takes two to tango.
Both of them should be held accountable, and deal with the consequences.
Good luck, sweetie.
