Cinema is censored while Television is let loose! Should not both be made community-enlightenment responsive?

With Sex, Violence, Crime, Superstitions etc., on its dark side Cinema aims at box office hits exploiting human fallibles..

Good message through true-life projection and characterization is possible through Cinema, but seldom they live by it.

TELEVISION!

With Sex, Violence, Crime, Lies, Falsehood etc., on its dark side. T Vs exploit these to the maximum extent for its coffers to bulge.

Knowledge! Information! News! Messages! These are on the brighter side. Some channels concentrates on it and some others have few programmes based on these.

Should not Government enforce strict censoring of both cinema and television programmes and makes Television Channels responsible and answerable for the lies, falsehood and ignorance they spread through their telecasts that confuse the enlightened elite. lileeann33

It is NOT the job of a democratic government to tell people how to think. It would certainly never be th ejob of a capitalist one.

The enlightened elite will never be the problem. It's the thicko masses who get ripped off, and still enjoy it.

I have a question as to why you can call a woman a b!tch on TV but you can't say sh!t?

But I don't think the government should get involved in censoring anything TV, radio, music, Movies, etc. 1st amendment, if you live in the states. But I do think that the people who produce these shows should take some responsibility for what they show the public.

I believe that Censorship today is just fine. Certain television shows are blocked because of their ratings. And when it comes to film, underage people are prohibited from entering the theater if the movie is rated R or higher.

ALL THAT GOOD AND NURTURING STUFF SHOULD BE LEARNED AT HOME AND PEOPLE (SMART PEOPLE) KNOW THAT TV CINEMA IS MAKE BELIVE AND DOES NOT HURT NE ONE ITS BUSINESS LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE SCHOOLS CHURCH POLITICS. thats what the FCC and censors are supposed to do but if people buy into that and it makes companies money what do you think they are going to put out
