what do i wear??

Question

i have a school event coming up on saturday it is all these like nerdy little spelling competitions and stuff and im going for my friend who has to do something in it, and people usually wear like dressy skirts and stuff but the skirts have to be to your knees and im not sure i have one that long so what should i wear out of the following options?? mix and match however

1. black and white really cute dress (but it may be a little dressy)
2. white or blue jean capris (possible underdressed)
3. almost any color tank top, including light pink, dark pink, red, sky blue and lime green
4. black and white ballet flats in a little design
5. plain white ballet flats
6. white skirt (though ive already worn it a couple times)
7. red wedges with little white polka dots
8. any color flip flops
that was only a few options so if u have anything else to suggest i might have it......

okay. I suggest wearing the white skirt, a brightly colored tank top, and maybe a sweater, or cropped jacket over it? Or maybe you could wear the jean capris, with the dress over it. There's an idea. But, it may look a little bulgy, but just try it out. If it looks to bulgy, try maybe a skirt, some leggings the red wedges, and a long shirt with a belt over it. Try to spice up all the maybe plain things you have with pretty earings, a headband, or even a hat! Don't be afraid! Or you could even wear a pair of jeans, and a really fancy top. It evens out the two perfectly. But if you decide to wear something plain, that you might think looks underdressed, remember to use jewelry! I hope these tips help. Oh, and if you don't like anything you have, go out to the mall and buy something! You have until Saturday. I suggest Old Navy. It is cheap, and has really cute things, that you could even mix and match with the stuff you already have! Good Luck to you and I hope you have fun at the event.

I would wear the red tank top, the red polka dot wedges, and the white skirt. Maybe add a nice purse or some fun jewlery.
Also, add a fitted jean jacket to finish off the look.

If the dress isn't too long wear it with jeans under it. It totally makes dress look casual. Or even wear one of yours shorter skirts with a pair of jeans under it. It will give you a totally cool fashionable look. Wear a cute T or tank top, maybe something that would go with your red polka dot wedges (I wish I had a pair) Hope this helps. okay, sounds like the dress might be too dressy and the capris too casual, sooooo ... here's my advice:
wear #6, your white skirt, with either a light pink or blue tank and your white ballet flats w/ the design, this gives u a nice innocent look and is very cute, too!

I like the idea of the black and white really cute dress with the plain white ballet flats shoes. Younger ladies seldom dress up any more and a well groomed young lady in a pretty dress would stand out nicely in a crowd. If the dress is long enough for your school...

i would wear the white skirt (it doesnt matter if you already worn it its probably the best out of those choices but if you really dont want to wear it then i would go with the white capris) with red and white polka dots with a red tank top with a white tank top underneath (maybe if you had a short sleeved red shirt that would be better but i dont think it matters.)

hmmm well i would either wear the black and white dress ( i know it may be a little fancy...but if its cute..why not wear it right??? lol ) or i think you should wear the white skirt with the black and white ballet flats.....maybe with the skirt wear a different shirt so it doesnt look as if u worn it before..... alright well i hope this helps!! ok i'm not sure if this will work because i dont know how your dress looks like, but if you have to wear something under, wear your red tank top with your red wedges and a black headband.

but if thats too much...

wear your white skirt (i'm sure no one at that spelling contest saw u wearing it) with a colorful top and ure white flats. Wear a headband to go with it too.
