How do you react when you get rude service at a store?

I tell them I think they are being rude. If they respond rudely I go straight to the manager.

It all depends on the timing ... if a staffer is rude to me before I spend any money there, I simply walk out without making a purchase. If someone is rude at the cash till, I likely won't return to the store anytime soon. Personally, I don't quite get those who choose to work in customer service that get so annoyed with customers - their jobs depend on those patrons, after all ...

Either leave before buying anything, or if it's too late for that, by never returning to that store, and telling everyone I know how I was treated.

If it's one that I normally go to, I talk to a manager and file a lengthy complaint. If it's a new place I'm checking out, I will walk out and never return.

However, If I have really good service, I'll ask for their manager and praise them and tell the manager that I will return and ask specifically for them to help me again.

I have had occasions where I have never gone back because of rudeness. Half the time the manager is some young twit who doesn't give a crap either.

I just usually give a shocked, taken-aback look. Like "I can't believe you just said that, you twit" look. I'm very good at it. It usually makes them shut up.

I don't get mad because they could be a reason the assocate is acting that way. I kill them with niceness.-L

i give them a piece of my mind. if they still act the same, its come to the point where i go to the mgr.....and add a little more drama to it...*muahahahahahaha-evil*
