my hamsters ''wet tail'' dried when i put him in a bin full of aspen does this mean he was never sick?

well i was woried and since i can't take him to the vet, i just put him in a big bin with water and food and alot of aspen.
3 hours later, i check on him and he's all dried up.


does wet tail dry up even when sick?


could the wet tail look be caused because my male hamster was licking the other one?
(the other one is not sick)

Wet tail doesn't mean they will have a wet tail they will also have diarrhea. If it was really wet tail it wouldn't just clear up in a few hours. There is a product called dry tail that I recomend you keep on hand. If you ever notice that your hamster has true wet tail it will kill them unless you treat them ASAP!!!!
