There is this guy that I know, he's 20 years old, he has just come over from the middle east to England and we've become friends. But there is some things about him that I find a bit strange. I was using his laptop and from looking at his history, he's constantly on this 13 year old Disney Channel actresses website. He's on it all the time, especially on her gallery bit. He watches the Disney Channel a lot, the programs which are mainly for the younger kids. He's quite childish. Not in an immature way, but in the sense that he's a bit like a child. He collects action figures, he has them all over his windowsill. He is also a huge superman and batman fan, and he collects things about them, action figures, watches, stationary.... anything to do with them. He can't take a tiny bit of critisism, but he doesn't ever get angry, he just looks like he's close to crying. He's also never had sex before....Does this guy sound a bit strange to you, or is it just me reading too much into things?

Nicola s, yes that is exactly what i think. I've always thought he has the mental age of a child.... but you say that like you think thats ok for 20 year old man... In my opinion, it is strange.

This guy does sound strange. The actress who's 13- need I even say anything about that... People are saying not to worry too much about the toy collecting, but that still is odd. He's a child in that sense, so whats stopping him from looking at other things from a childs point of view....I would be very wary of him. But unfortunately, there is nothing you can really do about it. If you are uncomfortable around him, which I'm guessing you are, cool off from being with him. Don't see him so often. He's just moved here, he will soon make new friends. It might be nothing but lets hope these friends won't be girls younger than himself...

I'm 24yrs old and I'm from Los Angeles and a very big fan of Disney and I watch the Disney channel. There's nothing wrong if he likes that 13 yr old actress.I mean if you haven't seen anything perverted on that computer you shouldn't worry.And for the collecting toys its normal on a guy.My husband collects superman toys and other action figures and he has them on the wall. At first I thought that it was weird but he told me that its just a hobby and he said that growing up he didn't have much toys now he can have them as collectibles and if unopened can be worth a lot in the near future.You'll be surprised with how many men collect toys.Go to eBay and you'll see men bid on toys, its nothing out of this world. If your friend plays with them like a child then yes there's a problem but if he just has them on display you shouldn't worry. Even I collect toys and have them on display.Your friend is probably a boy at heart.

did you ever think that he might have a mental age of a child hence the Disney channel the toys the web site and you criticising him hurts his feelings try dropping into conversation about this actress like you have a niece or nephew that likes this person and ask his if he knows anything about her or his opinion that might put your mind at ease

what can i say, he's 20, bassically a boy, yea hes a bit weird, looking at the actress thing, other than that he's normal, my fella is 31 and loves disney films, we went to disney land last year? he might grow up a little when he becomes a man, (if ya know what, i mean),,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It could be -
a) He was a deprived childhood - and is making up for lost time.
b) He has not yet matured - in the emotional sense. (And even grown up boys can't let go of their childhood action figures!)
c) Has a v unhealthy obsession with someone who is underage - you know what i mean and don't make me say it!

Always best to go with your gut feeling on these matters and by even asking the question you've probally answered it your self. But is you want further advice be wary (very wary) of him.

but you gotta think of it like when they are kids in the middle east dey dunt get all the freedom we do... guys and girls are seperated... toys are meant for guys.... hes new to freedom think of it that way -- he'll come around show him your world :)
