What we have here is a failure to communicate...or translate. In those days words had different meanings than they do today. Just like the word "gay" now means something totally different than it did many years ago.
I remember reading that "virgin" in those days merely meant that a woman had never given birth before. It had nothing to do with never having sex. The other thing is that the immaculate conception is a term used for the birth of Mary not Jesus.

We can prove it because it's plainly written in English in the Bible, just the way God wrote it. And we are absolutely sure that in the 2,000 years intervening, no one has made up or faked any part of it and that all the translaters, copiers, and interpreters were absolutely honest, sincere and perfect in their work. Just like the interpreters, preachers and popular churchmen of today are. .... and if you're interested, I have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn, that's a great investment.

First you need to know that the Immaculate conception refers to Mary's birth, not Jesus'. It means she was born without sin to be a pure vessel from birth for Jesus to be born from. ( Catechism classes )
Now, if you mean how do we prove Mary was a Virgin when she became pregnant with Jesus, let's face it, there is no way. That secret died with Mary. And, fyi, the "virgin birth" was used in fables long before Jesus. Very popular myth.

However, I would like to say I believe Jesus was a great teacher and should be respected for that, as Gandhi, Buddah, and the rest of the teachers should be..
