Yes, unless Al Gore runs. Also, Obama is decent.

Absolutely not. I'm for women's rights, etc. but who has the authority to say "THIS person is the most qualified candidate for president" about a woman? That's why we vote.. because everyone has different opinions. I mean, unless the majority of voters believe a woman is the best, most qualified candidate for office, this statement is obsolete.

By the way, for those who are all for female presidents, keep in mind that even if she IS president, she won't stop having PMS........

I don't really agree. It's not as much the gender issue as it is the competency issue. I don't agree with most feminist statements that women will save the world and we can do everything as well as men (or, in this case, better than them). I think women in power positions act pretty much the same way men do. Maybe cos it's still a "men's world" out there...I'm not sure, but the bottom line is that women in power are usually just as prepared to go to war (maybe not as eager, but definitely prepared) as men are so I really see no gender difference here.

It's more, like I said, the competency issue - who's the most competent PERSON for the job?

see the problem with statement is I'm not running for president, and I'm not a woman...so i have to say no..cause i am the most qualified...I'm not going to get into why

She CAN do the job, I'm not arguing that and she is fairly qualified, i just think the Dem's will be cutting each others throats trying to win the ticket, and she will end up as the VP running mate of another candidate, possibly Obama

No. I'm not a fan of Clinton, and there are no other female opponents. Also, I don't believe in electing people because of their gender, race, religion, etc. If the only good candidates that come up are White, Christian male candidates, then that's just the way it is. (And, yes, I am a female.)

If some one like Golda Maire or Margaret thatcher were to run yes.
we have not a good history of electing the most qualified but they grow into it most times.
being president is an enormous undertaking.

Yes, i think we will and should soon have a woman as president. BUT not hilary because she'll put so much crap out against video games, if she became president. We'll get laws like in germany they were, im not sure if it passed or whatever but they were trying to ban all shooting games. i dont want to live in a world were i cant play video games. They actually make me LESS violent and LESS angry.

What makes hillary qualified? Honesty? No. She has repeatedly claimed she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, who climbed Mt Everest in 1953, except she was born in the 40s. What has she done...?...

NO!!!! Absolutely NO! (Especially if you mean who I think you mean ... that one is NOT even close to being 'best' or even 'qualified'). Bought her way into a Senate Seat ... and that is the POLITE way of talking about that one (I won't say more ... she just is NOT qualified for anything at all .. and has absolutely NO CLUE about America or its needs).

when it comes to electing a president we usually just wind up picking the lesser of two evils.meaning which one will screw us the least. I think the jury is still out on all the candidates
